Amithlon

I have tried booting Amithlon and this is as far as I have come. If anybody can help please contact me.

Amithlon – http://www.amigawiki.com/cgi-bin/wiki.pl/Amithlon

I have never used amithlon so I tried to boot the cd and got to a section with a bouncing ball. I have got to the stage it displays this message :
Reboot in progress. Phase 1 (68040 Soft Reset)
Reboot in progress. Phase 2 (GFX Reset)
Reboot in progress. Phase 5 (emulator crash?)

I am running amiga sys 4 with amithlon so I hope I can get it running by itself😀

Have you tried changing the boot options… ie limit to 512mb if you have more memory, put into VESA mode 640*480 16bit and so on? Have you tried the Gary Colville kernels?

emubox.gz init=/linuxrc console_level=4 root=/dev/ram0
initrd=bigird.gz vga=785 ramdisk_size=30000 leavepages=15000 mem=512m
video=dovesa

I run amithlon in a 600Mhz with 256mb ram, no problem at all. In faster machines will not run.
